Hey there — I'm Carissa, the hands, heart, and soul behind Blushing Rose Nails & Esthetics.
I graduated with honors from the Esthetician program at Georgian College in 2017, started working for myself in 2018, and officially opened Blushing Rose in 2019. What started as a dream to create beautiful nails has grown into a place where creativity meets connection — a cozy, welcoming space built on trust, good conversation, and a shared love of self-expression.
I specialize in hard gel and have an ever-growing passion for realism nail art — bringing tiny, detailed stories to life, one brushstroke at a time. For me, nails are more than just decoration — they're a language of self-expression, confidence, and care. Every set carries intention and a little piece of who you are.
Outside the salon, I'm most myself when I'm with my Great Pyrenees, Cilla, working out, cooking, or getting lost in a good book. My favorite artists are Elvis Presley and Yungblud — a blend of timeless soul and fearless rebellion 🎸✨
But above all, I'm not just an Esthetician— I'm someone who genuinely cares about the people who sit in my chair. Each appointment is more than a service; it's an exchange of energy, a safe space to breathe, laugh, vent, or simply be.
I believe touch carries intention, art holds emotion, and connection heals. When you walk into my studio, you're not just another appointment — you're a whole story, and I'm here to listen.

Hi, I’m Ashley Bechard — a hairstylist based in Val Therese, ON ✨
I’ve been behind the chair for 5 years, specializing in bold color transformations and lived-in balayage while keeping hair healthy, vibrant, and strong. I’m also a barber, offering clean fades and beard grooming with attention to detail.
I’ve recently stepped into the world of nails as a junior nail technician in training, and I’m absolutely loving the creativity it allows me to bring to my clients. Being able to work across both hair and nails means I can help you feel put together from every angle.
For those who need a little extra convenience, I also offer in-home services.
I’m passionate about helping people feel confident and like their best selves. I’m constantly learning new techniques, staying up to date with products, and creating personalized at-home care routines so your results last long after you leave my chair.
A little about me 🤍
I’m super outdoorsy — you’ll usually find me chasing waterfalls, sunsets, or out on the water kayaking. When I’m not outside, I’m still creating… just on paper. I specialize in charcoal portraits and love anything artistic. I’m also completely obsessed with dogs (so yes, I will ask to see pictures of your pets 🐶), and I’ll never turn down a coffee or a sweet treat.
